• All parking locations are saved only on your device
• Photos are stored in your device's local storage
• Voice notes remain on your device
• Settings and preferences stay local

Permissions Explained

We request these permissions solely for core app functionality:

📍 LOCATION (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION)

• Why: To save your current parking location
• Usage: Only when you tap "Save Location"
• Storage: Saved locally on your device only

📷 CAMERA

• Why: To take photos of your parking spot for visual reference
• Usage: Only when you tap the camera button
• Storage: Photos saved to your device's gallery

🎤 RECORD_AUDIO

• Why: To record voice notes about your parking location
• Usage: Only when you record a voice note
• Storage: Audio files saved locally on your device

📳 VIBRATE

• Why: To provide haptic feedback for notifications and alerts
• Usage: For parking timer notifications and user interactions

🔔 POST_NOTIFICATIONS

• Why: To alert you when your parking timer expires
• Usage: Only if you set a parking timer

⏰ SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM

• Why: To trigger parking timer notifications at the exact time
• Usage: Only if you set a parking timer

💾 WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 9 and below only)

• Why: To save photos to your device's gallery
• Usage: Only on older Android versions (Android 9 and below)

Third-Party Services

None. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Google Maps

The app uses Google Maps API solely to display your parking location on a map. Google Maps has its own privacy policy which you can review at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Map usage is local only - we don't send your location data to Google or any other service beyond what Google Maps requires to display the map.

Children's Privacy

Find My Car does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any data at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• You control all your data
• You can delete the app and all data will be removed
• No risk of server breaches (we have no servers)
• No risk of data leaks (we don't transmit data)

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is accessible within the app
• Delete: Uninstall the app to remove all data
• Export: Your data stays on your device
• Control: You decide what to save and when
